Shipping & Delivery
ROTtec Motorcycle gladly accepts international orders. Available product line, shipping rates and fees may vary depending on the delivery address for your order. Your packages may be subject to the customs fees and import duties of the country to which you have your order shipped. These charges are always the recipient’s responsibility.
Customs, Duties and Taxes
You are responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from ROTtec Motorcycle, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of Canada may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Using Your Own Freight Forwarder
Using a freight forwarder to ship items internationally circumvents the ROTtec Motorcycle shipping program and may result in complications not covered by ROTtec Motorcycle. If a freight forwarder is used, the following terms will apply:
· ROTtec Motorcycle will not be responsible for damage or loss that occurs to goods after they are delivered to the freight forwarder. This means that ROTtec Motorcycle is not able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any goods delivered to a freight forwarder. You should instruct freight forwarders to refuse goods that arrive damaged, and goods lost after being received by the freight forwarder will be your responsibility.
· You (or the freight forwarder if you so designate) become the exporter of the goods and are solely responsible for compliance with all export and import regulations, including all Canada export regulations and the import regulations of the destination country. ROTtec Motorcycle must not be listed on any export or import documentation (e.g., import or export declarations, invoices, packing lists, etc.)
Changing an Order Before It Ships
Most orders you place on ROTtec Motorcycle enter the shipping process very quickly so we can get your items to you as soon as possible. Orders already in the shipping process cannot be modified.
